Activist Chukwuka Ofoegbu, known as Ijele, has disclosed that Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is currently appealing to the presidency via Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila to forsake the Biafra movement for his release.

Ijele emphasized that Kanu’s imprisonment should be intensified, insisting that he will not accept any conditions for Kanu’s release.

“Let’s be clear, the only acceptable modification to us is the enhancement of the current sentence. Anything less will lead us to make this country unbearable. Nnamdi Kanu cannot devastate our land and expect to get off lightly,” Ijele cautioned.
