To tackle the problem of misallocated commissions in both private and public sectors throughout Anambra State, the State Government has engaged Salamusasa Multilink Business to oversee revenue collection in and around the Ogabru Main Market.
In an interview with WISEMEN News in Awka, the state capital, Chief Chukwudi Okoli, CEO of Salamusasa Multilink Business, explained that his responsibilities entail collecting and reclaiming funds that have been misappropriated from the State Government. He emphasized the importance of everyone’s role in the state’s development by ensuring prompt payment of taxes and other legitimate revenues.
Chief Okoli outlined that he would manage operations in both public and private sectors near the Ogabru Main Market and urged users of these areas to work together with his team and the state government to recover funds that have been wrongfully taken by certain individuals.
A letter dated March 31, 2026, and signed by Engr. Micheal Obiekwe, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, instructed Chief Okoli to follow the guidelines set by the State Government for revenue collection. He was also encouraged to foster a cordial relationship with both public and private spaces’ users to ensure the timely discharge of their financial responsibilities, underscoring the importance of this revenue for the state’s swift development.
“My company has been assigned the task of collecting state-approved revenues in the private and public areas around Ogabru Main Market, and I request the collaboration of all users in these locations. Our team is well-equipped and will approach our duties with a positive mindset. I urge the public to report any misconduct by our team members to my office for appropriate action.
“We are dedicated not only to the state government but also to the citizens, believing that our success relies on maintaining humility in our public engagements. I assure everyone that we are committed to working together effectively in this important initiative,” stated Chief Chukwudi Okoli”. He concluded.
