With a growing number of influential politicians in Ebonyi State looking to join the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), a party celebrated for its Igbo roots, State Chairman Hon. Chukwudi Nwankwo has expressed his surprise at the party’s rising status as a preferred political partner.
In a conversation with the WISEMAN crew at his home in Amalekwune-Ameka, Ezza South Local Government Area, Hon. Nwankwo reaffirmed his dedicated efforts, alongside his executive team, to ensure that the party’s name and principles resonate with every voter in a state known for its significant political figures in Nigeria.
He noted that their grassroots outreach across all electoral wards is producing positive outcomes, bolstering the party’s chances of securing various elected positions in the forthcoming general elections.
Hon. Nwankwo asserted that APGA will displace the current ruling party from both state and federal legislative roles, emphasizing that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is gradually losing influence as politicians within their ranks increasingly recognize APGA as the embodiment of Igbo political representation.
“This isn’t just empty talk; the political implications are clear. The outcome of primary elections for other parties will propel APGA to the forefront by 2027,” Hon. Nwankwo declared.
