Emmanuel Aleke. This act appears to be an act of revenge for the death of Ikechukwu, known as Turn by Turn, allegedly killed by his apprentice, Chiemerie Aleke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A report from WISEMEN News Correspondent in Abakaliki indicates that this violent outburst occurred just days after Chiemerie was arraigned in court in Onitsha, Anambra State, facing charges of conspiracy and murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of allowing the legal process to unfold, unidentified individuals invaded the Amalekwune Ameka Community and took it upon themselves to retaliate for the murder of the deceased, leading to the total destruction of the suspect&#8217;s uncle&#8217;s house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports suggest that Chiemerie, the apprentice, is currently on trial for the attack and murder of his employer, known as Iyke, which occurred after he was chastised for theft and drug use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Witnesses stated that the deceased, referred to as Turn-by-Turn, was a businessman at the renowned Ogbo-Ogwu Bridgehead Medicine Market in Onitsha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One witness recounted, &#8220;The 18-year-old from Ebonyi State seized a mortar pestle from the kitchen and struck his boss on the head during an argument on Sunday evening.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many have condemned the destruction of the former lawmaker&#8217;s residence as an act of brutality, voicing concerns over the perceived unfair treatment of the Aleke family. They argue that since the individual accused of the murder is facing trial in a legitimate court, the attack on the suspect&#8217;s uncle is indefensible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attempts to contact the leadership of the Amalekwune Ameka Community, the family members of the former lawmaker, the family of the deceased, and the State Police Command for their comments were unsuccessful at the time of this report.
